Under Armour Curry 2 “All Star”

Just in time for the upcoming NBA All Star Weekend in Toronto Under Amour drops yet another great colorway of the Curry 2. Stephen Curry himself will proudly wear his second UA signature basketball shoe during the festivities in Canada where he will participate in both the All Star Game and the Three-Point Contest.

Chef Curry is looking to defend his title in the shootout. Last year he achieved an almost perfect score of 27 out of 34 in the Final Round where he faced up against Kyrie Irving (17) and his fellow Splash Brother Klay Thompson (14). Quite a lot of people already say that he’s one of the best shooters the game has ever seen. On Saturday he has yet another chance to prove it.

The All Star version of the Under Armour Curry 2 is dressed in a clean white upper with red and gold accents. Finishing the look is a translucent light blue outsole. What makes it special and different from so many other outsoles in this style are the gold speckles which nicely fit the All Star theme. We’re also still big fans of the “I can do all things” script on the medial side of the shoes. We already know that the UA Curry 2 is amazing when it comes to performance on court. As you can see they look great in the streets as well.

About the author

Martin joined KICKZ in 2013, the year of its 20th anniversary. Starting out on a small side job he’s been sucked deeper and deeper into the Kickz.com universe ever since. Also known as “Doc Martin” or “The Professor”, he’s a real smartass who drives his colleagues nuts on a regular basis. His wisdom is as magnificent as his beard, which makes James Harden look like an infant. And he’s also very humble.
Surprisingly, his favorite basketball player is not Dr. J but Penny Hardaway. Likewise, his favorite team of all time is the 1994-95 Orlando Magic squad who beat the Bulls in the Eastern Conference Semi-Finals. When it comes to sneakers, it’s retro runners all the way. New Balance, Adidas, Puma, Asics … you name it. It’s safe to assume that there’s a connection between his love for 90s shoes and 90s basketball.
